Two Duke students · Durham & the Triangle

Good businesses shouldn't drown in busywork.

We got tired of watching good local businesses do work a computer could handle, so we started this. We sit down with your team, find what's eating your week, and fix it with the simplest tool that does the job, not the flashiest AI. We come from finance and coding, so we solve the actual business problem, then teach your team to run it without us.

Free 20-minute consultation. In person or virtual, anywhere in the Triangle.

How we work

We fix the business problem,
not sell you a tool.

Most of what slows a business down does not need fancy AI. It needs someone who will look closely, care about the outcome, and set up the simplest thing that works.

01

The problem comes first

We start from what is actually costing you time and money, then reach for the simplest tool that fixes it. Sometimes that is AI. Sometimes it is a setting you already pay for. We are not here to sell you software.

02

Finance and engineering

Between us we come from finance and coding. We can read your numbers and we can build the fix ourselves, so you get people who understand both the money side and the technical side of your business.

03

You own it, you run it

Everything we set up is yours, documented in plain language, with your team trained to run it. We would rather you not need us than keep you on a subscription you cannot leave.

a business like yours.

Pick your industry. These are the tasks we find over and over again on the first visit.

What we do

Three ways in.
Most clients start with a free consultation.

You do not need to know anything about AI before we show up. That is the entire point.

01

Free Consultation

We sit down with your team, in person or virtual, figure out where the week goes, and tell you what's worth automating and what isn't. Free, every time.

  • 20 minutes, no cost
  • Confirm what's worth doing
  • Leave knowing which path fits
02

Custom Automation Build

We scope, build, and deploy one bespoke automation, wired into the software you already pay for, then train your team to run and troubleshoot it themselves.

  • Built and tested on your real work
  • Connected to your current tools
  • Cheat sheets and a troubleshooting note
03

Training & Support

Want to build things yourselves, or keep us close? A hands-on training session on your own use case, plus optional monthly support for tweaks and fixes.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

01

A free consultation

Tell us what eats your week, in person or virtual. We look at how you work, tell you what's worth automating and what isn't, and say so honestly if AI isn't the right fix.

20 minutes, no cost

02

A scoping session

We map the process, confirm what's feasible with the software you already pay for, and hand you a written scope: what we're building, what it won't do, and a fixed build price.

45 to 60 minutes · $200

03

We build it, you learn it

We build to the agreed scope with your team learning as we go, then hand it over with written instructions and 14 days of support. You own everything we build.

About 3 hours of your time

04

We stay on, if you want

Optional monthly support for tweaks, fixes, and small additions. No lock-in — keep us only as long as it earns its keep.

Optional, cancel any time

The math

What it adds up to.

Independent research keeps landing on the same thing: a large share of the work week is repetitive enough to hand to software. Here's the evidence, a rough calculator you can try, and the shape of the payoff. Your free consultation replaces the estimates with real numbers for your business.

45%

of the tasks people are paid to do can already be automated with technology that exists today.

McKinsey & Company, 2015
58%

of the average workday goes to "work about work" — chasing status, searching, re-entering — not the actual job.

Asana, Anatomy of Work, 2021
60%

of all jobs have at least 30% of their tasks that are technically automatable with current tools.

McKinsey Global Institute, 2017

Put a number on one task.

Pick a single repetitive job someone on your team does every week, and see what handing it to a computer could give back in a year.

Assumes we automate about 80% of it, across ~50 working weeks. Drag the sliders.

Both paths begin with the same free conversation. Every time shown is your time commitment, not ours — our build time is longer.

About the founders

Who you'd actually
be working with.

Co-founder

Sophomore at Duke. Spent the last few years building things for small businesses and kept running into the same problem: talented people spending half their week on work that a computer could handle. Handles the builds and the technical side.

Sophomore at Duke. Click this text to write Jaden's bio: what he studied, what he has worked on, and which part of the business he runs. Keep it plain and specific. It reads better than a list of adjectives.

We started this because we kept seeing the same thing around Durham. A front desk retyping the same information into three systems. An owner writing the same quote for the fortieth time. A manager spending Sunday night on a schedule that should take ten minutes.

The tools to fix that already exist and they are not expensive. What is missing is somebody who will come sit with your team, figure out what actually applies to you, and set it up properly. Between us we come from finance and engineering, so we care more about fixing the real problem than about using the trendiest tool. We use the simplest thing that works, then teach you to run it yourself.
